Very selective schools are roughly schools ranked 51-150 in the country. They include some of best public, private and liberal arts schools in the country. If you are at this level of selectivity, that means that our team of college admissions experts think that you have a good chance to get into some schools in this group assuming you apply to several of them and keep up the same level until you graduate. Of course, no one knows for sure what schools you will get into (and don’t believe anyone who tells you they do) except the admissions officer reading your application. So, we always recommend students apply to several colleges at both higher levels and lower levels than the one they are tracking to (in addition to several in their tier).

Schools at this level of selectivity include

      American University
      Bentley University
      Boston University
